About Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the practices used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). It is a modality that utilizes mapping techniques of the energy of Qi through the tissues of the body called channels or meridians.

These charts detail the paths of these energies in the horses' body; however, it is of note that there is some discrepancy between different teachers of the meridian pathways. These charts follow the most widely accepted locations, but if you find your intuition leading you down a different path, it would be my inclination to trust your feel.

These points can be stimulated in a number of ways; most commonly metallic needles are used by educated professionals, but many other methods can be used including the simple use of finger tip pressure on the skin.

Print Details

All prints are made on Premium Art Quality Paper (Gloss and Matte options).

There is a border that remains on each print. This provides a handling surface, as well as for ease of framing. These prints are a perfect fit for an 8x10 frame, or any frame, if matted to 8x10.

Lamination is offered for Gloss paper only, and these prints are larger at 8.5x11 and then laminated for a 9x11.5 finished size.

Options:

Size: 8x10 Gloss and Matte
Paper: Premium Art Paper in Gloss or Matte, approximate 100lb

Laminate: 8.5x11/9x11.5, 3mm (Gloss only)
All options are available in the product selection before purchase.

Customization can be requested if you would like something tailored to you or your horse
