My interest into anatomy is summed up so well by this quote by Teal Swan, "commit to doing whatever it takes to understand people. To really love something in a way where that thing will actually feel loved, you must understand that thing. This means, you should stop trying to love people and start trying to understand them instead."

This applies to our horses perfectly. We are so often stuck in a box of 'trying' to love something we do not understand. So we capture it and put it in a literal box. If we attempted to understand a horses needs this would not be a logical course of action.

Anatomy is a window into understanding these beings on a deeper level, one where the result of that attuned understanding is often more compassion, more kindness and and as result more love. But just having love as the pathway in, would not have gotten us to the same place.

All is love, but sometimes to get there we need to walk the path of understanding.
